A patented improvement to conventional die cutting, the TopMatrix^® system improves productivity and minimises swarf, dust and cracking. Used with flatbed and rotary technologies, TopMatrix^® improves cutting and creasing forces for a faster, superior die cutting performance.

The TopMatrix^® System is composed of a matrix sheet affixed to the surface of the cutting die in sections (partial TopMatrix) or as full coverage (full TopMatrix). These matrix sheets form a pressure surface that acts as a powerful ejection device, and eliminates pressure points to reduce cracking.

The matrix sheet also provides a closer fit to cutting and creasing rules, reducing perimeter cracking and dust for a superior performance.

The durable TopMatrix^® system protects the rubber underneath, resulting in less wear, fewer repairs and a lower overall die maintenance cost.
